It's been awhile!

So it's been awhile since my last post... let's just say I haven't really felt like it.I have had a rough and busy month. This last weekend Ryan and I went to St. Louis and left the kids in Columbia with a babysitter. Well I actually freaked out about leaving Kaylee there too so I ended up letting her go to Grandma and Pap Daddy's house. I don't know what my problem was, but I am glad that I decided to have Kaylee go there anyway, I think she had a fun time being one on one with the grandparents and Aunt Tessa.

So Ryan and I went to six flags on Saturday, it was a lot of fun and very hot. We then went out to eat at Outback and went to see Narnia II Prince Caspian. I liked it, I think it followed the book pretty well. We stayed the night at John's house and then went back home to gather the kids. I was happy to see them cause I did actually miss them! lol...

Hmm.. what else is new? Matthew and Maverick are in big boy beds now. I decided to put them in big beds after Matthew bounced so high in the crib that he flipped out onto the floor and landed on his neck. That was a little scary! So I didn't want anyone to break their necks so onto big boy beds for them. It was hard the first night because of course they didn't want to stay in their beds but then the second night only Maverick (of course) got up several times. Now we are having issues because Maverick wants to climb in bed with Matthew and sleep and Matthew screams because he doesn't want Maverick to sleep with him. Yeah! joys of having twins.

Kaylee had a birthday party last Saturday.. OMG I can't believe she is four now. I feel old. No really she had a great birthday party, four of her friends came over. She is really into the disney princesses so she got the rest of the disney barbies you know Jasmine, Ariel, Snow white, Cinderella, Aurora and Bell.

Oh and I think I finally won the battle of "please let's get rid of Cooper!" We got home from our trip yesterday to find that Cooper had chewed through our AC unit's cord so it no longer can be plugged in and he chewed through our hose. He has already chewed so many things up this summer. I think I had to buy three new pairs of shoes because he chewed up the boys shoes and he also chewed up a pair of kaylees shoes. Let alone all the toys and balls he has destroyed. I think after yesterday when Coop chewed our AC cord up Ryan finally got the message or at least understood where I was coming from. He told me he was going to sell Cooper.. I didn't even have to say anything! I know Ryan will miss him, but he just doesn't have the time for Cooper, he needs to be trained and ran everyday, so it's probably better for Coop too.

I can't think of anything else new that has gone on... but I will soon post some new pictures to our blog. I have some cute ones!

Hey sweet peas - it was sooo great to hear about things! We miss you all so very much. I love that Kaylee had such a great birthday. I didn't know she loved princesses so much. By the way, I have a princess bike helmet and knee pads, does she need them? Please let me know before I get rid of them. I can bring them with us when we come. I am glad you guys had so much fun on your date.
Isn't crazy how we just know when not to leave our kids different places? I am glad you chose to leave her with her parents. I am looking forward to keeping the kids once and awhile :):):):). I hope they will come to be close to us. Have a great day!
I love you guys

A dog is like another kid. Cooper sounds like the teething nightmare! I am celebrating your loss of a dog! I despise that crawl out bed stage. I would rather change poopy diaper. At least it gets over with. But kids will crawl out of bed over, and over, and over....
So excited about your awesome date! I told Jared I wanted to go to Six Flags on our next anniversary. I don't think they have one in Alaska though. Anyway, glad you had a good time. Oh yeah, mom told me about you not feeling comfortable about Kaylee being at that house. I am SOOO glad you followed your instincts. I believe they are realer than real. Love ya, Meg
