Another funny Kay saying

So the other day I made a grand lunch you know corn dogs, french fries and green beans. :) Kaylee likes mustard and I always forget but I put some on her plate and ketchup. When she came to the table she was so excited she said... Oh mustard!! My personal favorite, but mom I'm afraid that I don't like green beans anymore. Who is this kid? It made me laugh cause she sounded so grown up when she said it.

Name wars

So Ryan and Kaylee have name wars almost everyday. It's really funny. Well the other day Ryan was calling Kay KG for Kaylee the Giant. She was getting so mad. Well later that evening I set her up to watch a movie from netflix on our computer. (Too fun great way to rent movies, I just let her check them out online and watch them instantly!) Anyway so after I set her movie up, she said

Kay "Mom please promise me you will tell dad I love him."
Me: "ok I will tell him"
Kay: "But mom please promise me you won't tell him that he's a skunk"
Me: "Ok I promise I won't tell him."
Kay: Wait, but mom please promise me you will tell him I love him, but don't tell him he's a toilet."
Me: "Ok I promise I won't tell him he's a toilet."
Kay: "But wait please, please promise me you will tell him I love him, but don't tell him he's a skunk or a toilet."
Me: "OK I promise"

What a crazy girl. I thought this conversation was really funny, if only you could have seen her face.

Hang man/Challenge

Hello everyone, just been updating my blog today, since I have a little bit of time while kids are sleeping. So if you scroll down to the bottom of my blog you can play hangman. I know, but it's kind of fun.

I am getting into the Christmas spirit as you can tell I changed my background and added some Christmas music. So I am also going to put a little challenge out there to those who read my blog. I challenge everyone starting the day you read this to do something for someone everyday. This doesn't mean you have to buy something for someone. This is the time for giving and you can give in many ways. A simple smile to someone who doesn't expect it, a phone call, a letter...not an email a real letter with a postage stamp to someone. It can be anything small or big whatever is in your hearts desire :) Do this everyday til the end of the year and maybe you can make it a habit. I know by doing this you will bless someone as well as yourself. Involve your kids to, let them color something for someone and then take it to a friends house or do a secret santa, you know knock on someones door and run. The kids should get a kick out of that. If your kids are too young make cookies with them and let them dump the ingrediants, I know it gets messy but you will all have fun. Here is an idea take a whole day without doing "mommy things" and only do kid things, you will be surprised how much fun you will have and no don't stop to put a load of laundry in until your kids are asleep.

So that's it! That is my challenge. Yesterday I made cookies with my kids, of course my boys are too little to understand what to do yet, so I got a bowl of flour and gave all three of my kids measuring cups and let them dump it into another bowl, then I measured the correct amount into the a different bowl, they had fun and thought they were helping. There was flour everywhere on everyone, but not to bad to clean up.

Alright everyone good luck and let me know how you do!

It's Autumn time!

It's Autumn time, it's Autumn time, the leaves are falling down!
We had a lot of fun this day. My kids, daycare kids and some neighbor kids all played in our yard raking leaves. They were getting bored so I made a little route down our hill on the side of our house. I raked all the leaves to the bottom of the hill, then I got all the little bikes and cars we had and everyone took turns rolling down the hill and smashing into the leaves. It was a lot of fun! I even did it. They did this for hours.

Our outdoor adventures!

This summer we went hiking a lot with the kids. It was great fun! It's great the boys were able to walk to whole time instead of us carrying them. Matthew however is a slow poke because he likes to stop and pick up all the rocks along the way. He will seriously have 10 rocks in each hand and still try to pick up some more.

The boys never want to hold still for pictures as you can see, but we tried anyway. I can't wait til it gets warmer to hike again. Next year should be even more fun!
